Organizational Instructions to the Course Process During the Covid-19 Outbreak

Dear students,

Hereby we are bringing the summary of all the changes we were forced to implement due to the corona-virus emergency measures and Rector's leave.

Firstly, due to the fact that there will not be any possibility for contact teaching, and as you have been informed by the emails already the exams in the face-to face mode probably would not be possible. Therefore, the assessment methods and on-line education will be amended as per the following:

1. Draft Marketing Plans

Draft papers should be uploaded into the IS until the  22nd March 2020 - 23:59). As a reaction to your questions what should be included in the draft paper - please make sure to include section 1 to 7 from the marketing plan template (available in the IS). Try to be as specific as possible as generic text will be penalized.

Hereby we are attaching the Marketing Plan template available in the IS, together with the folder where you should upload your Word files.

2. Preliminary Marketing Plans

Please prepare and upload your preliminary marketing plans until 29th of April 23:59. Bear in mind that you would need to upload them as a Word file. Please follow the template provided.

3. Final Marketing Plans

After you receive comments from our side on your plans, you should action them as soon as possible. The deadline for final marketing plans is 20.05.2020. Please follow the template provided.

4. Assignments

As there will not be physical presentations, please do not send/upload any ppts. Instead, please compose a Word file whereby you introduce the topic, the main points, practical implications etc. Bear in mind that no copy/pasting is allowed and therefore it will be strictly penalized as per dean's directives. Please upload your files in the attached folder. Additionally, please keep up with the deadlines that are indicated in the original syllabus.

5. Case Studies

Please adhere to the agenda and dynamics indicated in the original course syllabus. No major changes in context of case studies. Please upload your files in the respective folder. The weekly deadline is each Wednesday evening.

6. Weekly Tests

The biggest change comes with the tests and how are they performed. You will be taking them online through IS. Please note that the tests will be available at specific time stamp (e.g. sharp at 16:00) and will be open for submission limited time (5 minutes). After that, tests are closing automatically. Please mind the negative points for incorrect answers - this rule stays applicable. Additionally, please note that your activities in IS will be monitored and logs might be retrieved if we assume you eventually misused the system. 

Tests will be taking place each Thursday at 18:00, starting from 16.04.2020 and onward. Please note that since we already are legging behind at this moment, there are going to be two tests on some weeks. Please find the schedule down below. You should click on the respective topic and you will get redirected to the test sight.

7. Discussion Groups

Please use the chance to communicate between yourselves via discussion groups available in the IS. Maybe to pose some question and I will try to answer as soon as possible there, so that all of you can see. Please find attached link to the discussion group.

8. General Information

Please find enclosed some useful and general shortcuts so that process of learning runs more smoothly.

9. Online Lectures

Starting from 16.04.2020 until the end of the semester, online lectures will take place via MS Teams platform. Lectures will take place as per current schedule between 16:00 and 17:50 CET. You will get a link to join a lecture and your attendance is desirable.
