Additional learning opportunities (accounced on April 30th)
Please note
that the following learning assignments will be only optional. It is fair to
say that you do not need to complete them in order to earn a grade in this
course. On the other hand, there will be at least some additional bonus
points for those that will go through these exercises. However, you
are not studying HR to earn points, but to learn about the topic!
Learning opportunities
1) Coursera courses
Currently, we have unlimited free access to courses on Coursera. I know that some of you have already enrolled in some of the courses. I want to raise your awareness of the following related to HRM:
There are
more courses, these ones nicely fit ours. There will be 8
bonus points per completed course from the ones mentioned above (i.e., up to 48
if you complete everything). Please note that you can enroll until July 31st
and finish them by September 30th. If you finish the course after receiving a
grade from our course AHMR course and the bonus point would make a difference, the grade will be changed in the system (until September 30th).
Always send an e-mail to Michal Jirásek once you finish the course in order to earn bonus points.
2) Additional presentations and quizzes
There will be a few videos on the HR topics that are part of our course and you want to learn about them the most. In order to do so, please fill the questionnaire in the e-mail you received.
Following
each video, there will be a short quiz in the information system. For correct
answers on questions from the quiz, you may earn a small bonus (proportional to
the demands of completing a Coursera course).
Additional notes
The aim of these additional learning opportunities is to balance lectures you haven’t received in the course and also to offer you a chance to avoid part of the stress you may feel right now.
Please note that unless stated otherwise, none of the above-mentioned learning opportunities will be a part of your exam. The plan so far is that exam will be based exclusively on materials from Mr. Goellner.
