Assignment 2 - Peer Assessment
Annotated Bibliography Peer Assessment
Your task is to evaluate the annotated bibliographies written by your fellow students and provide them with constructive feedback. Please evaluate their work objectively, with a focus on providing helpful suggestions for improvement in writing style.
Instructions for the peer assessment process will be sent to your university email on March 28. Your evaluation will be anonymous and your name will not be visible to the students whose work you are reviewing. You will have from March 28 to April 3 to work on the assignment. Please note that the peer assessment tool will automatically close after the deadline, and late submissions will not be accepted. It is therefore crucial that you submit your feedback on time.
You will be asked to review the annotated bibliographies and respond to the following questions:
1. Summary of key findings: Did the student clearly present the findings of each paper in their annotated bibliography? Did the student use their own words to summarize the content? Did the student consider the strengths and limitations of the articles?
2. Language: Is the assignment easy to comprehend/read? Are there any errors in grammar or vocabulary? Is the style appropriate for academic writing, i.e., no contractions or colloquialisms, concise language, formal tone, and an objective perspective at all times.
3. Overall comment: What is your overall impression of the assignment? What has the student done well? What areas could be improved upon?
4. Grading: What grade would you assign to the quality of the assignment? Select from the following options: A, B, C, D, E, F.
Peer Assessment includes two steps:
1. Submission - make sure you submit your text to the assigned folder before the deadline
2. Evaluation - picture below shows how to enter the evaluation in IS
