By exploring these themes, this review aims to offer a critical evaluation of the opportunities and challenges presented by metaverse technology for the retail industry. 2. These technologies enable retailers to create individualized customer journeys, engaging shopping experiences, and effective inventory management. By leveraging these technologies, retailers can optimize the customer experience in the metaverse retail sector. Retailers can gain insight into client preferences by using data analytics to analyze consumer behavior. This allows businesses to customize their offerings and increase customer engagement and happiness.
