CREDIT REQUIREMENTS


Ø  At least 80% attendance in lessons; this means you can miss up to 2 lessons without a formal
excuse, all other absences must be excused through Studijní oddělení.

Ø  Active participation in lessons; this involves preparation for lessons, doing homework
systematically, cooperation in lessons.

Ø  Submission of seminar assignment; i.e. translation of an article by 29^th October 2008 (for
detail see info below)

Ø  60% score in the credit test on 10^th December 2008

SEMINAR ASSIGNMENT


Ø  choose one of the articles to translate in Studijní materiály (seminar assignment)

Ø  translate the article without another person helping you

Ø  include your name, UČO and the title of the article you have chosen

Ø  use appropriate style and language to translate the article (all of them were taken over from
The Economist.com)

Ø  use double spacing

Ø  submit the article to odevzdávárny no later than the deadline, i.e. Wednesday, 29^th October
2008
