SUMMARY – INSTRUCTIONS


Summary:

_ every student has to write it up by him-/herself, without help of anyone else,

_ you have to include your name, university number (učo) ,the number and title of an article

you decided to sum up,

_ it must be written in English with your own words – it is absolutely impossible to

compile it from existing sentences occurring in the article,

_ it must be submitted in time and in the required length, i.e., 200 – 250 words, double-spaced,

_ it must be submitted both  in a printed form and electronically (IS-Odevzdávarna), no plagiarism
is allowed (the document will be checked by a IS utility “Vejce vejci”)

_ summaries containing a number of mistakes and discrepancies will be given back to be
revised/redone

_ the deadline for submitting the summary is Thursday, October 29, 2009.

_ when the summary is corrected, you will receive it back with feedback and finally you will be
graded “splněno” or “nesplěno” in “IS - Poznámkový blok”
