Syllabus

The course syllabus is available here:

The course syllabus can be changed during the semester. At the end of the semester, the syllabus will contain only the topics, which were really lectured.

Assesment methods

The course is concluded by a written multiple choice test. It always contains questions only from those topics, which have been lectured in the particular semester (see course syllabus). There will be always at least one correct answer per question, but up to all answers can be correct.

So called ROPOT tests will be utilized. As they are scanned and automatically evaluated, it is an advantage to get acquainted with the answer sheets. It is recommended to use pencil and have rubber at disposal. This can save valuable time at the test. The answer sheets are available here:

Grading system

The grading system will be adjusted depending on the number of lectures (and therefore questions and therefore points), which will really take place in this semester.

Exam

The written exam will take place in the last week of the semester (see Syllabus) and than in the exam period. Terms during the exam period will be published before the end of the semester in is.muni.cz. Students will need to reserve seats at the exam.

Study materials

There are powerpoint slides for the lectures in the Study Materials folder in is.muni.cz. There is also a textbook. Only chapters relating to really lectured topics are relevant for the exam.
