General Information
Dear students!
In English II/Aa, we will cover Units 1, 3, 5, 8, 9 from Tonya Trappe & Graham Tullis's Intelligent Business - Intermediate.
You need to have the Coursebook in the lessons. There is also a Workbook available, but it's completely up to you if you want to buy it or not - it is good for practice, but not compulsory.
Grammar that is covered this semester:
Unit 1: Tenses (present simple and continuous, past simple and continuous, present perfect)
Unit 3: Future forms
Unit 5: Present modal verbs of likelihood (can't, must, should, ought to, might, may, could)
Unit 8: Adjectives and adverbs
Unit 9: Relative clauses

Credit requirements:
To finish English II/Aa successfully and get the credits, you will have to:
- be present in the lessons 80% of the time, which means that you can miss 2 lessons without official apology (e.g. a note from a doctor that you bring to the study department),
- submit seminar work, which is 2 formal e-mails (details including the deadline can be found in your teacher's interactive syllabus),
- be active in the lessons and do homework assignments,
- get at least 60 points in the credit test, which will take place on 8 December in the lesson.
