We will follow it by addressing key questions such as what a theory is, how it evolves, and why we study it.

The following first two papers explain the concept of theory and theorizing in the business and management discipline. The third paper explains this concept more specifically in the context of information systems. If you don't have time to read all three, try to read at least the third one.
