This course focuses on business and management research and theories adopted in the literature. We start by looking at the nature of the theory and the need to study that. This is followed by a review, critical examination, and evaluation of contemporary theories on various topics focusing on information system literature. This course will use case-based learning based on the published material in international journals, books, and conferences to explore different aspects of each theory and how it could be adjusted for different technological and social contexts. The idea is to give you a broad understanding of theories and how they can be employed in research and practice.
