Seminar sylabus PV260 (Group 03)
Week 1 - Introduction
About this seminar
This seminar group will be held by professionals from YSoft.Seminars will not cover all topics from lectures. However, it will cover selected topics deeply.
The first week we will be discussing the course modality: the content of the course, evaluation, pre-requisites, goals of the course. We will be getting know each other and start digging into software quality.
At first, you should know about some requirements.
Pre-requisites
- You should know basic of C# development within the scope of PV178 Introduction to C#/.NET development
- You should be able to understand UML diagrams (mainly class diagram)
- You should have theoretical knowledge about SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
Requirements
- Each student is required to bring own laptop (and if your battery does not last for the whole seminar, consider to bring extension cord)
- It is necessary to have your environment prepared - Visual Studio at least
Attendance of tutorials
Attendance at the tutorials are not compulsory but highly recommended - you will get most of the points at tutorials.
Evaluation
- Points for activity on seminars: 10pt (20pt)
- Presentation of selected topic: 15pt
- Home assignment: 10pt (15pt)
