Microservices. A buzzword that has been with us for quite some time. But what is it really?
The talk will start by debunking common misunderstandings of this concept, mention what benefits a microservice architecture can offer and finally get to the core: “what microservices actually are?”.

We will discuss challenges a company has to deal with to successfully adapt microservices approach. Technical topics such as API gateway and service discovery won’t give us a complete picture so we will also explain the impact microservice architecture has on the whole organization. All this will be illustrated on specific real-world examples and mistakes we have experienced.
