-1 There should be message back to user +1 For good description and diagram notes :) Result: 8 PV207/02ENGLISH Homework 1 – Bc. Filip Svoboda (431042) 15. 3. 2020 The first process any on-line parfumery needs is, without a question, efficient order-and-delivery process. The „Order dispatching“ process being presented here at Level 1 diagram of BPMN 2.0 describes the core structure of order handling. As one can also see from the diagram, quality is our top priority, and we would like to present ourselves on the market as such. The basic structure is as follows. Once an order is placed, our system confirms that it has been paid for. If so, it proceeds to check whether all the ingredients necessary for perfume production (all our perfumes are freshly mixed at time of order) are in stock, and if not, they are ordered from our supplier. Once the ingredients are in stock, a perfume specialist mixes all the ingredients and then performs a quality test (a mix of sniff test and automated spectrometer testing). If the quality is subpar, perfume is discarded and remade. Once the perfume conforms to company standards, it is shipped and sent to the customer. Notes regarding diagram design. 1) Task „Mix ingredients“ has two inflows, even though Signavio throws a warning, because on slide 10 of lab, loopback is deemed as a good reason to skip gateway. 2) The first flow to the task „Mix ingredients“ goes purposefully from right to left, i.e. in a wrong direction, to improve diagram readability on a single sheet of A4 paper. 3) As per video, the „Typical“ sequence flow from a XOR gateway is designated as the default one. 4) End event „Transaction disapproved“ is not of „Terminate“ type, as Signavio does not support that for simulation. 5) Two message flows („Ingredients“ and „Perfume“) are material flows, as on slide 5 of lab, „Pizza“ is also a material flow. 6) I have used a group for better process clarity. Group is a Level 1 element, but it was not mentioned on slide 3. 7) Sign inside an End event of type Message is exported by Signavio as a black rectangle.
