INTRODUCTION TO VV036 CHARACTER MODELING
Welcome in the course! This semester you will build upon your knowledge from the prerequisite courses VV035 and PV272. But this time we will pay attention to developing concepts for your character, we will talk about anatomy a lot and other stuff which relates to creating some special and original character!

OVERVIEW
1. Introduction, Eyes
Introduction – course overview. First assignment – creating eyes.
2. Blend
/ Morph, Teeth

Shapes – morphing – facial expression and transition in-between them.
Adding mouth cavity, teeth and gums.
3. UVW Texture
Map Generating, Texture Painting

4. Animation
Animation of Blend Shapes transition, including texture and light animation
5. Hairs
Creating Hair
Submission head + animation - by Sunday for all froups
6. Head
Presentations – animation and head with hair rendering, Introduction
to Sculpting

Human
anatomy, developing concept, mood board, drawings, using PureRef
for organizing references

1st part of Head assignment - EYE
See in the "Texture" folder in the Study Materials - there are textures in PSD format you can use for creating eye texture.
See in 3D FILES there is a complete model of the eye so you can see how it looks.
Place your eyes into the model of the head, which you can find in the Study Materials -> 3d Models:
