Assignment 1:

Analyze the introduction to an (influential) article from your field relating to your research as done in the second reading on page 2. What 'moves' do you find? Is it a good introduction? How could it be improved? You can do this simply by adding comments to the PDF file, or in whatever format is most convenient for you.

Assignment 2:

Write a popularized introduction to your own research based on the spoken activity from last lesson and applying the principles of the CARS model. Also include (if appropriate) the potential practical relevance/application of your research results. Length: 1-2 pages. Due date: 28 April.
