Týden 8 - Cybersecurity and Resilience in Energy Sector and other Critical Infrastructures by T. Pitner

There are manifold dangers related to recent developments in critical infrastructures due to increasing automation, growing number of actors, many connected devices giving virtually no security guarranties. It all expands the security perimeter of such infrastructures – modern power grids with prosumers, home automation devices, and grid control together with their cross-border nature put its function at great risk. Coping with such risks does not only mean ensuring proper robust architecture by design and its correct implementation but also requires legislative support which does not prevent appropriate investments and allows to include security and supply chain-related criteria in procurement processes. The entire problem area of supply chain resilience is now a key topic for research and practice from the business, security and geopolitics point of view. The talk with cover the mentioned aspects in their interrelated nature and will present sub-areas where Lasaris is active.
