Content

In this presentation, we will discuss the development of event-driven systems. In the first part, we will introduce modern methods of designing large-scale systems using event storming. This method fits nicely into agile development processes, which is not usually true with traditional methods.

The next important thing is the underlying data layer itself. Should you use a relational model, document model, or event sourcing? What impact does this have on the development process?

Finally, we check available frameworks for event-driven systems and how our design methods and data layer choices impact the codebase, day-to-day development of new features, refactoring testing, and operational characteristics.
