PHOTOGRAPHY ASSIGNMENTS.
2 of these can be assignments completed during the
class, at least 2 have to be an independent assignments
- either selected from the list or an individual
assignment. Please consult the independent and
individual assignment prior to starting the work.

ASSIGNMENTS SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
Each assignment will be submiNed as a pdf with a
considered verOcal layout including clear Otling, photos
and accompanying text.
Header must include: name of the photographer,
name of the assignment, name of the module, year
Accompanying text will describe your creaOve process,
research, references.
Think of it as your own picture story in a magazine!
Don’t forget to include page numbering. Please also
submit individual jpgs used in the pdf Otled: Last name_First
name_assignment_name_VV045_date_number of the photo in the sequence.

Living in deep time vs Time as
an abstract entity
Untroubled by any notion of time ticking away
the medieval person might have experienced a
heightened awareness of the vividness of things,
the feeling of timelessness that can also be
called living in deep time .
The boundary separating the self from the rest
of reality grows blurry and time stands stills. The
clock does not stop but we do not hear it ticking
(Gary Eberle, p 21).

time has two layers.
The base layer is the
ticking time. We seek
the version of this
time as immersive
living in deep time .
The upper, meta-layer,
is the manipulated
time in the camera freezing

time flow slowly. I
always felt that is
precisely what sets
photography apart
from other art
mediums.

been exhibited in 2014 in FYC
