Cílem cvičení je seznámit se s nástroji pro pořízení forenzních kopií digitálních
dat z paměťových médií.
Jako příklad bude použit nástroj FTK Imager (free download) společnosti AccessData.
Úkolem studentů je:
- najít a instalovat tento nástroj na jejich počítače
- seznámit se s funkcemi a možnostmi tohoto nástroje
- cvičně pořídit forenzní kopii USB Flash-disku a seznámit se s výsledky kopírování
- seznámit se s dalšími možnostmi nástroje, zejména prohlížení obsahu pořízení kopie
Výsledkem cvičení je schopnost studentů pořídit forenzně správným způsobem kopii
dat datového úložiště a provádět elementární hodnocení obsahu takto pořízené kopie
dat.
The aim of the exercise is to become familiar with the tools for making forensic
copies of digital data from storage media.
AccessData's FTK Imager (free download) will be used as an example.
Students' tasks are:
- Find and install this tool on their computers
- become familiar with the features and capabilities of this tool
- practice to make a forensic copy of USB Flash-drive and get to know the results of
copying
- become familiar with other tool options, in particular viewing the contents of a copy
The result of the exercise is the ability of students to make a forensically correct copy
of data storage data and to perform elementary evaluation of the content of such a copy
of data.
