PV217 Service Oriented Architecture
Week 3 - SOA Maturity Models & Project Management in SOA projects
The aim of this lecture is to present the Open Group Service Integration Maturity Model, one maturity model for SOA that maps 7 dimensions (Business, Organization & Governance, Method, Application, Architecture, Information, Infrastructure & Management) into 7 maturity levels according to how much advanced the implementation is within an organization. One of the dimensions is the architecture (and various related-aspects), that we already discussed in the last lecture. Another dimension is the method of SOA implementation, that we cover in the second part of the lecture, that is how project management / development works in SOA projects. We will also review one case study that presents the introduction of SOA within an organization.
