Abstract. In recent years, the KYPO Cyber Range has been used for different types of hands-on cybersecurity training and exercises. However, the data itself can only provide a limited view of the training progress, outcomes, or feedback. To be able to measure the impact and have meaningful insight into the exercises, we aim at transforming the collected data into visualizations. In the presentation, the main principles of Cyber Defense Exercises and CTF games are introduced, together with the challenges in providing the necessary information in the form of visualizations. We present all visualization tools, developed for various use cases of these training programs.
