Homework explanation

In our everyday life, we need to do a lot of duties and tasks we not necessarily enjoy. From the long-term perspective, in order to be content, prevent burnout syndrome, etc. we need to maintain "narcissistic equilibirum." To balance the "musts", one has to also do "wants" -  .i.e. to maintain hobbies, do enjoyable things that make you feel happy, to do something you are good at to feel successful, to experience positive emotions, to meet people you like.

The homework is about reflection of the activities you typically do. Imagine your regular week and think about your activites - and whether they drain your batteries (the "musts") or whether they recharge your batteries (the "wants"). Going to work will probably drain your battery (lot of "to-do"s - this will represent a section of the "expenses" circle), but it might recharge your battery as well (you meet colleagues who you enjoy be with - this would represent a section of the "resources" circle).

When you are done, think about the result. Do you invest enough time to recharge your batteries? Can you somewhat limit your expenses? See hints in the last slide of the presentation.
