Some important information about the Autumn 2024 Edition of PV217:

• The course will be given remotely due to sabbatical leave of the teacher. There is a space reserved for remote lectures on Friday at 10:00. Some lectures will be given live remotely with recording available afterwards, other lectures will be for self-study and will have the video recording and all the materials available upfront.
• Previous years there was a project based on the Quarkus framework to be developed by students in teams of four. This will be difficult to follow in a remote course, so it will be replaced by a series of individual exercises (based on the Quarkus framework) that can be submitted during the semester through the GitHub Classroom platform.
• The final evaluation is in the form of a colloquium as a discussion about the content of the course and the exercises submitted during the semester. This will be similar as previous years. Also here, likely the discussion will happen remotely.

The course will be back to presence form and frontal lectures in Autumn 2025.
