Week 11 (16.12.) - Biofuels

Biofuels - an example of regulatory failure?

Biofuels were considered as a solution for multiple problems, environmental, geopolitical, even agrarian. Over the last decade, however, the optimism decreased significantly. In the lecture, we will discuss why, and what is needed for biofuels to offer a viable option to fossil fuels.
