10. Quantitative methods 22. 11. 2021
Required readings:
Kellstedt, Paul M. and Guy D. Whitten. 2013. The Fundamentals of Political Science Research. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press. From this book, read the following:
- sections 3.1 and 3.2 in chapter 3 (pp. 51-62)
- sections 5.8 - 5.12 in chapter 5 (pp 111-124)
- chapter 7 (pp 145 - 167)
Note: You will find mathematical expressions in some of the chapters. Do not let that discourage you. Although I encourage you to read through them, it is not necessary to read and understand the math. Conceptually, it's all explained in the text.
