Required:
Kellstedt, Paul M. and Guy D. Whitten. The Fundamentals of Political Science Research. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, read a section titled "Example 3: Correlation coefficient", this section begins on p. 150 in the 2009 edition of the book and on page 161 in the 2013 edition.
Read the chapter about Bivariate Regression models from Kellstedt, Paul M. and Guy D. Whitten. The Fundamentals of Political Science Research. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press. It's chapter 9 from the 2009 edition (or chapter 8 from the 2013 edition). Make sure you read carefully about the assumptions.
Sections 12.6 - 12.9 in Learning Statistics with Jamovi.
Recommended:

In addition, if you want to replace your worst homework score with a new score, you can do a make-up homework as well. This make-up homework is optional. The make-up homework is also due this week 15 minutes before the start of the class.
