U.S. Foreign Policy Towards Israel

It often surprises students and scholars of Israel and the U.S. that presidents and prime ministers are not always in agreement. Of course, we have had the (in)famous tenure of Obama-Netanyahu, but prior to them, there have been years of "off-on" bromance between leaders, whether it was President Reagan and Prime Minister Begin or Bill Clinton and Bibi or George W. Bush and Ariel Sharon the relationship was not always in agreement.

External variables, internal variables, and the very accurate misperceptions within the mainstream media have aided in this ideological paradox.
