There is no pre-assigned literature to this course. Students are expected to produce briefing papers based on relevant research with source requirements determined below and discuss and challenge the points made in the sessions.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Students are expected to produce briefing papers focused on pre-determined sub-topics with policy-relevant predictions and policy:
- Submit and present two briefing papers (2000 words) on the topic you choose from the list of topics at the beginning of the course (max 40 points each) AND
- Submit two shorter briefing papers (1500) chosen from the list in which you are not presenting, each in different topics than the previous (max 25 points each)
- Participate during the debates (max 10 points)
