The Independent Expert is scheduled to present her report on ageism and age-discrimination (A/HRC/48/53) at the 48th session of the UN Human Rights Council on 20 September, which will be streamed live on UN Web TV (https://media.un.org/en/webtv). On 21 September at 14.00 CET, the Independent Expert will join a virtual side-event entitled "Human rights in older age: Toward the elimination of ageism and age discrimination" to speak about the findings of her report and discuss experiences and manifestations of ageism.
