Upload the shots taken at f-8 and one meter away. Upload them as Jpeg.

1. Upload your photos from the scavenger hunt. 2. Read chapter 2 about lenses. 3. Create 3 photos for each of the elements of composition listed above. They must be well composed and properly exposed. They don’t need to be high art, but they should show intention. 4. Upload them as Jpeg as I don't want to deal with the raw files.

Please post the photos from class and the homework found in the syllabus for Unit 3, the tip on page 69. If something has been “shot to death,” try getting it from a different angle, perspective, location. Go to a place in Brno that everybody knows, has visited, and make five, never before-seen, as creative as you can be photographs. Examples could be Petrov, Speilberg, the train station, Luzanky, Zelny Trh, Ceska, Svobody Nam. Etc.

Photograph the photo cube according the instructions and images found on lighting_cubes_ex.jpg, found in the learning materials. The paper cube is also in the learning materials. Yes, you need to cut it out and glue it together. REMEMBER. Homework needs to be submitted here by 12:00PM Monday, the day of class.

Make the five photos in the study materials listed as photoshop HW01-05 look better. Then, fix five photos of your own.

Create one photo using Photoshop where one person appears in at least 5 different places at the same time in the same room. Upload the psd when finished. Due to the difficulties of getting into the room with photoshop, you have 2 weeks to finish this.

Shoot a portrait session. Upload 5 different shots from that session here.

Create 5 images that demonstrate light. Yes, this is abstract and requires creative thought.

Create 5 well composed, well exposed, etc. images that represent darkness.

Pick an item. Take 36 unique photos of it. There can be changes in lighting, perspective, close-up, far away, etc. Just make them all different from each other.

Please upload your creative images from the in class activity. You don't need to upload your zone photos.

THIS IS NOT LISTED IN THE ORIGINAL SYLABUS. Create three (3) images in Photoshop where you play with blending modes. You can use lighten/darken + clone stamp, overlay, screen, or multiply. Please upload the PSD files.
