Week 1 Introduction to the course and brief overview of the content.
Syllabus
Please prepare your short introduction of
yourself and answer the questions:
“Who are you?”
“To which social group(s) do you belong to?”
“What identities do you
carry out? What does it mean?”
Here is a reminder about the teacher's grading approach during the semester.
Ongoing grading:
Attendance - 1 point (max. altogether 12 points per semester)
Hometask activities - 1 point (max 10 points per semester)
Participation in in-class discussions and group activities - 3 points per class. 30 points per semester.
The leadership of the in-class discussion (1 per semester) 10 points.
Practical assignment: conduct one in-depth interview with a person on the dimension of the social identity/ies you are interested in, and upload in the Hometask Voult justification of the choice of the research object (dimension of identities) and the results of the research implementation. Detailed instructions on the requirements for such a document will be uploaded to the information system by Week 4. 10 points
Final assignment (exam) - 30 points. The final exam will be your essay, which should be based on your reflection on the interview results, interpretation, and analysis. The requirements for the document will be available in the information system at the end of the semester.
