Eligibility criteria |
Eligibility criteria for registering domain name are defined in article 4 of 733/2002/EC directive. These are:
- undertaking having its registered office, central administration or principal place of business within the Community, or
- organisation established within the Community without prejudice to the application of national law, or
- natural person resident within the Community;

I can be said that .eu domain became quite popular, so far more than three million domain names have been registered.
