Pre-moot Berlin (26.-28.2.)
Information regarding second premoot:
Everybody will take app. 100 EURs for the expenses which will cost ancillary costs (50 payment for food organized by HU and 50 for hostel). Those money will be reimbursed to you after arrival to Czech Republic. The invoices are always needed, if you loose it, you will not have a other chance then to pay your cost on your own. If it causes problem for you, please contact me as soon as possible and we will find amicable solution (even without conciliation).
The food is almost obligatory (there will be a lot of food which will be prepared for you by HU - former participants know it). Additionally, bring some money for your expenses. The prices in Berlin are not so high as they were several years ago and I know several good places where we could go after hearings.
Radek Rubán, Alica Obertová, Eliška Šrotová, Tomáš Stolina, Slavomír Halla and Tomáš Demo will leave on Thursday if the hostel staff will agree with my today’s proposal.
Tomáš Kaščák, Ivan Cisár and Tomáš Hulle will leave and travel on Friday (as well as Martin by plane).
When the schedule of opposing teams and appointed arbitrators will be delivered, I ll forward to you. We will agree on Friday schedule in advance (the rest could be agreed later). I want to see Alica, Tomáš K., Radek Rubán and Martin Pavlus and appreciate the rest as well. However, for aforementioned speakers is obligatory to choose at least one pleading where I ll act as an arbitrator. Slavo will see all of you in Budapest (The day schedule is attached to this message).
Berlin will be the best chance to convince us how good you really are and if you should be a speaker in the finals. Do not miss it. We were satisfied with your performance in Prague and therefore just continue and care a lot about comments of arbitrators. They do not want to harm you, but help. If they say something, at least consider it as a relevant opinion which is usually helpful.
We will leave Berlin at 16:36 with some exceptions. Two speakers will plead and there is a slight chance that they will miss the train and will go at 19:25. I ll stay as an arbitrator and will leave later as well if it be needed. It will be up to us to agree on it, but I ll not agree on cancellation of last hearing. Therefore, it is up to your tomorrow class to agree on the way how you would like to finish and leave Berlin. Try to understand that we do still want to have as good relationship as it is now and therefore do not want to destroy last hearing for one participating team and HU. Nevertheless, it could be agreed somehow differently with HU when we will be there.
If you have any free time in Berlin, enjoy it, because there will be pleadings for the most of a day and there will not be a lot of free time. Moreover, there are amazing museums just few minutes far away from university, If you be interested in culture, please ask me and I ll refer you to some options how you could enjoy your visit even more.
Best wishes and enjoy!
Tomáš Hulle
