The mini conference that took place on Thursday 11^th April started with a little sad but quite informative topic Inheritance law in the Czech Republic presented by Pavel Datinský, Martin Kalous and Pavel Daněk. The presentation was very well structured and gave the audience a good overview of the issue of inheriting. We found out what the main steps and events are concerning the inheritance. The presenters did a very good job in sharing their ideas and the audience appreciated it although they had a few objections: “... the presentation was very educative and nicely worked out, only it was a little morbid and I also noticed a pinch of cynicism.“, “The presentation had a good logical order.” The second presentation was on the presidential amnesty according to the Czech law: Are we any unique in the world? This work was well prepared and presented by Václav Stržínek and Jan Novotný. The presenters showed us how an amnesty works and compared the recent situation in our country with situations in countries not only throughout the world but also the time, which was very interesting. “The presentation was very well done and contained valuable information.”, “The presenters did a very good job with their presentation, too bad they seemed a little shy while presenting it.”
