On Tuesday 16th April second part of our English mini-conference was held. As before we were welcomed by one group, which was presenting on day 1, and signed the attendance list. After everything was prepared the presentations could start. The first presentation was about the Creation and Development of U.S. Constitution and focused on its amendments. The second one was a case study about Brown v. Board of Education, famous case which changed interpretation of the Fourteenth Amendment. The last one was atypical. The topic was Role of the Emperor in Japanese Legal System. All the presentation were well-prepared and educational. The second part of mini-conference was a success. „I thought, this second day of our mini-conference had been even better than the first one“, said one member of audience. We can only agree. Presenting groups knew from the first day that the worst enemy is time. So they prepared for this and none of the groups exceeded their share. Also the presenters themselves were pleased with their performance and reactions of audience. Nice interactive presentation were big plus because it caught attention of audience. In the end we can say that the mini-conference was not bad idea after all. We learned how to present our ideas in front of audience and improved our skills. Furthermore, we were introduced to very interesting topics.
