1. Council of the EU, structure & competences
(Klára Pomazalová, Tereza Krčmářová, Martina Spáčilová, David Hanák)
This presentation is dealing with the structure and competences of the council of the EU. It
should explain what the council is, where can we found it and something about the members
and voting. The most important part of this presentation is a short description of the
institutions. We also want to name a basic competences of the institutions.The aim of the
council is to solve problems with coordination of economic policies. It also passes EU laws,
coordinates cooperation between courts and police force of members at countries. The council
signs international agreements and approves the EU budget, etc. The goal of our presentation
is to tell you some information about each of this subtitle.
„I am looking forward to this presentation because I would really like to hearthe positive and also the
negative impacts of the topic. The short description of the institutions, you have mentioned, would be
interesting to know as well. I am kind of excited if you will be able to occupy the audience with this
topic. I think the EU theme is not easy to explain and we have many opponents against the EU in the
Czech Republic.
„This presentation could be very interesting and upgrade our knowledge of the community law. In my
point of view is this topic very viable and I am realy happy that I will have a chance to get more

2. Amnesties in the Czech republic
(Petr Deduch, Veronika Ciencalová, Adéla Trýbová)
Our group chose a topic called Amnesties in the Czech republic. The reason why we did it is
that our previous president Vaclav Klaus declared an amnesty and most of czech people
didn´t agree with this decision therefore we will talk about amnesties. Then we would like to
describe what does amnesty mean and do some historical excursion. We will talk about some
important facts, for example where we can find amnesty in law, which state organ have a right
to declare an amnesty, who must prepare all the material which is necessary for the lawfully
process and many other important and interesting informations.
„This topic is very interesting. It solves the current problem in the Czech
Republic. I look forward to interesting information. There are many reactions to this act of the
President. Some agree with it, but most people are against it. I was particularly interested in historical
excursion. Certainly learn a lot of new things that I did not know.“
„This presentation will be very special for me because our group has a similar topic. Amnesty is a
very actual problem in Czech Republic and I think that it is a good choice. It will be very interesting to
compare between this presentation and ours. I’m looking forward to this topic and I hope that will be
different. I will be satisfied if both topics will be helpful for audience.“
3. Community Property
(Jana Šírová, Aneta Ráčková, Richard Bartes)
We have prepared a presentation in which we would like to deal with the
community property. We think that this topic is very interesting and especially practical for
our life as well. Since everyone will get married one day. First, we want to define basic
concepts as marriage, community property and divorce. Then, we want to focus on the actual
issues. It means how the community property is created and terminated. What is a subject and
a content of the community property. We also want to deal with the prenuptial contract. What
is needed for its creation. What a form the contract has to have to be valid. What are
advantages and disadvantages of the prenuptial contract.

„Community property is a topic we recently discussed in a civil law. Something about this topic I
know but I would like to repeat it and maybe learn some news about community property. I’m looking
forward to this presentation. I believe it will be nice and I hope that will be a helpful for us.“
