Parties: Oliver Rose (plaintiff)vs. Barbara Rose (defendant)


Facts: The facts of the case are as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Rose were in marriage for long time
(fifteen years). After one dispute plaintiff was attacked defendant. Barbara Rose was used kitchen
knife during the fight. In the first instance, the court ruled Mrs. Rose acted self – defense. Mr.
Rose said: “She lying! She wanted to kill me!”


Legal issue: The issue in this case is who saying truth. Mrs. Rose used self – defense or she
wanted kill his husband?


Reasoning of the court:  After finding further evidence the court ruled that Mr. Rose was right.
Mum of Barbara eventually said true. Barbara’s Mum and Barbara planed murder of Mr. Rose, because
he is very rich and Barbara’s mum need money to escape to Bahamas (mum of Barbara killed husband
too).
