The core mission of the European School of Administration is to provide training and
development opportunities to the following groups of staff in the EU institutions at
various crucial stages of their career development:
Recent recruits
People who exercise management responsibilities or who may be called on to do
so
Assistant-grade staff selected as having the potential to become administrators
All our programmes focus on skills, attitudes and behaviours since these are qualities that
are needed irrespective of the institution to which our participants belong. The
programmes are also very practical in their approach in order to favour effective learning
transfer to the workplace and they draw heavily on participants' own experience.
In addition, we can provide tailor-made programmes for an individual institution/EU
agency.
The School is also an active member of the network of Directors of Institutes and Schools
of Public Administration (DISPA) and its innovative approach to training and development
has provoked much interest among them.
Although our programmes are reserved for staff of the institutions and agencies, we hope
you will find the content and methodology interesting. Please do not hesitate to get in
