Doctoral Thesis Project I

Course Objectives and Content

The aim of this subject is to help the doctoral student finalize his/her project. This is done in three phases (together with subjects "Doctoral Thesis Project II" and "Doctoral Thesis Project III").


In this first phase, the doctoral student in close co-operation with his/her supervisor will:

  1. discuss possible methodological approaches to the selected topic of disertation and
  2. engage in an in-depth research of relevant literature in order to be able to formulate relevant research questions in the following phases.

After the completion of this course/phase, the student will:
  • be able to formulate relevant research questions in his/her topic
  • have a thorough understanding of the existing literature in his or her field.
