Doctoral Thesis Project III

Course Objectives and Content

The aim of this subject is to help the doctoral student finalize his/her project. This is done in three phases (together with subjects "Doctoral Thesis Project I" and "Doctoral Thesis Project II").

In this third and final phase, the doctoral student in close co-operation with his/her supervisor will prepare a final version of a disertation project with:

  1. precisely formulated and relevant research questions,
  2. clearly defined methodological framework
  3. in-depth review of existing literature.
This project will be evaluated by a commission and the result of the evaluation will decide whether the student will be allowed to continue his/her research. Before the commission evaluation, the student has to present her/his results to students as a pedagogical practice. The scope of this presentation will be specified by the supervisor.

After the completion of this course/phase, the student will:

  • be able conduct a research based on the project.
