                                 Presentations Formal Requirements



Topic              to be decided – if you come up with a completely new topic, plese, consults

                        it with teacher


Media             any media you feel comfortable with

computer, handouts, board, CDs or any combination


Speakers          A.  You may want to prepare questions for your audience – to be asked at the
beginning or end

·         if asked at the beginning, you will check them at the end, audience makes notes while
listening to you

·         you may have questions as an emergency instrument in case your colleagues have no
questions during or after your talk


            B. you may want to make your talk more interesting through

games, crosswords, matching exercises, pictures


C. you may want to prepare for pre-teaching terminology/expressions

key words you expect your listeners don’t know

expressions and concepts that are difficult to understand



Audience        prepare for asking questions and to discuss ideas


prepare for giving reflection



Length           up to 15 minutes, approximately 10 mins + 5 mins discussion
