Dear Students, dear course participants,

unfortunately, I am still out of the office and lessons.

In this email I would like to explain the outside-lesson work.

A.      In the week  5 of the semester, we should have a glimpse at motivation letters for study
abroad.

What you will find in the teacher´s folder week 5 is a number of materials. Please, make sure you
study through all the materials for

(1)    linking words and expressions (handout, overview  and the key to the handout)

(2)    motivation letters (student handout with activities, key to the handout and sample test
task), please upload the handout with your answers in the odevzdávárna

(3)    the sample test task gives you a good idea of what there is to come in the midterm test –
the motivation letter will be an integral part of the final examination and will be done as part of
the midterm test

(4)    the sample test is an optional task – if you want you write your letter and upload it in
odevzdávárna for feedback which I will happily provide


B.      in the „osnova“/interactive syllabus, please, study these sections:

(1) REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM – EXAM PRACTICE

(2) REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM – READING DETAILED – based on the text I will count on you having studied
the terminology for anatomy and functions of the individual organs in male and female reproductive
systems – you can understand the factual knowledge of   the individual systems as a solid base for
the final test.

The midterm test is to be shifted to week 9 of the semester.

The first presentations to be delivered will be postponed until the post-Easter week.
