Course contents
  1. 1st week: Revision (TM 3, 4, Nursing). Medical Czech: Diseases and complaints I (TM 5). Conversation:Tell your lifestory (L14). Grammar: Nouns, adjectives, possesive and personal pronouns in genitive, dative and accusative.
  2. 2nd week: Medical Czech: Diseases and complaints II. Chřipka (TM 5). Grammar: Nouns, adjectives, possesive and personal pronouns in locative. Revision of Czech prepositions.
  3. 3rd week: PROGRESS TEST 1 (Revision). Conversation: What would happen, if... (L15). Medical Czech: Pain I (TM 6). Transformations e.g. při chůzi/když chodím. Grammar: The conditional.
  4. 4th week: Conversation: Personalities (L 15). Grammar: Conditional clauses. Modal verb "měl/a bys... (giving advice).
  5. 5th week: Medical Czech: Pain II (http://mluvtecesky.net/en/courses/medical1/3/1). Grammar: Forming adverbs.
  6. 6th week: PROGRESS TEST 2 (ORAL). Conversation: Compare things and people. Discuss the weather (L 16). Grammar: Comparative and superlative of adjectives and adverbs.
  7. 7th week: Revision of comparison. Medical Czech: Injuries, accidents I (TM 7).
  8. 8th week: Conversation: Fashion and clothes (L 18). Medical Czech: Injuries, accidents II. Grammar: Revision of dative sg. Prepositions with dative (kvůli, díky, proti).
  9. 9th week: PROGRESS TEST 3. Conversation: Likes and dislikes (chutnat, líbit se, mít rád, milovat). Grammar: Dative object-centered structures.
  10. 10th week: Medical Czech: Doctor-patient communication. Instructions (TM 8). Grammar: Imperative (L 20).
  11. 11th week:Medical Czech: Examination of the patient (TM 9). Grammar: Instrumental sg. (L 19)
  12. 12th week: PROGRESS TEST 4 (ORAL). Medical Czech: Family history (TM 19).
  13. 13th week: PROGRESS TEST 5. Revision of the genitive, dative, accusative, locative and instrumental, comparison, conditional and imperative.
  14. 14th week: Diseases, Pain, Examination of the patient, FA. FINAL WRITTEN EXAM (May, 27th).
