Learning unit: Anti-obesity drugs


Impact of the learning unit:

The obesity, as a part of metabolic syndrome, is a common denominator of different diseases such as
dyslipidemia, hypertension, diabetes or hyperuricaemia. Sometimes, there is a pharmacological
treatment needed because of a high prevalence of obesity and poor adherence to non-pharmacological
interventions.
