Getting ready for the lesson

Review the rules of drug prescription from the autumn semester of 2021. There is a prescription test in the beginning of the lesson. You can find examples of prescription tasks below.

Prescription exercise.

Prescribe: 1. Transdermal patches with synthetic opioid analgesic. (2 original packages)

                   2. Oral hypolipidemic agent for hypertriglyceridemia treatment. (1 original package)

                   3. Prescribe peroral hormonal substitutiol therapy for patient with hypothyreosis. (for 3 months of therapy)

                   4. Prescribe SSRI antidepressant. (2 original packages)

                   5. Prescribe 2nd. generation H1 antihistamine for oral use. (1 package)

1. Do you remember drugs affecting GIT from previous lessons? Do not focus only on desired effects on GIT, but think about their adverse effects too. And what about drugs that can induce/suppress nausea and vomiting?
