Rules of hygiene and prevention at practical training


During the practical training at the department, students must always wear white clothes, name-tags
and follow these requirements:


-          use clean personal protective equipment

-          before patient examination, students must wash their hands. In the operating rooms and
at the ward, jewellery, watches and artificial nails are not allowed

-          hands must be disinfected after every medical procedure and manipulation with biological
materials or laundry

-          during surgical procedures, the operating medical staff must wear personal protective
equipment: sterile gown, disposable cap and face mask, sterile gloves and shoes.

-          eating and drinking is permitted only in dedicated places (i.e. dining room, day room,
kitchen)
