SCENARIO No. 1
• As you are driving your car from work you
happen to be a witness of a road traffic
accident (RTA)
• Description of the RTA: car versus tree, the car
engine still running, no hand brakes applied.
• Driver with a seat belt on, air bags deployed.
Nobody else in the vehicle.
• The driver is not responding to speech.
Any thoughts?
Scenario No.2
• You are having a lunch with a frind of yours at
your favorite restaurant.
• You can not help but overhear a noisy
conversation being held at the next table. A
middle-aged man is eating a steak and talking
to his colleague.
• All of sudden is he grasping his neck,
coughing but cough is weakening and he is
struggling to breathe.

Scenario No 3
• You are queuing to check-in at the airport.
• You are noticing an elderly man looking
disterssed and grasping his chest.
• He is sweating and complaining of sharp chest
pain spreading to his jaw.

Scenario No 4
• You are on the combat mission (VIP escort)
with your company in Afghanistan.
• There has been an ambush and you are under
fire of the enemy.
• Sergeant next to you has been hit in the thigh
above the knee.
• There is blood spurting out in time with the
heartbeat from the wound.
