Exanthematic diseases
Many children´s diseases are manifested by a variety of enanthemas or exanthemas. Some of them are so specific, that for the "experienced eye" their presence is enough to determine the clinical unit and we can indicate adequate therapy.
There are many exanthemas especially in at risk patients (immunocompromised, oncological patients), which are so non-specific and can significantly mitigate, that we need direct or indirect microbiological diagnostics for a definitive diagnose.
