Essay essentials


-         cover page (with your name, date and title of the essay); all other information are
optional

-         page format according to MLA standards

-         page format: double space, font 12”

-         don’t forget to cite and produce the Works Cited page

-         write at least five double spaced pages

-         give your essay to a colleague for a peer review

-         incorporate suggestions of your reviewer to your essay

-         answer the reviewer’s questions at the end of your essay



Peer review essentials:


-         read the essay

-         give suggestions concerning language and style (at least one paragraph)

-         give suggestions concerning the topic and content of the essay (at least one paragraph)

-         ask three questions about the topic (which are not answered in the essay)
