Instructions: an interview with a teacher


· Interviewer: yourself

· Interviewee: a real teacher (former teacher of yours, current teacher of yours,

   mentor at teaching practice, relative, etc.) or a colleague from class who has

   been teaching for some time

· Topic: the current state of the education system in CR (any aspect of it)

· Outline: imagine it’s an interview for a magazine/newspaper/teaching journal;

   it will contain:

Ø headline

Ø one short paragraph introducing the interviewee (2 - 4 sents)

Ø at least 4 questions

Ø answers (that is the length of the 350-400 words), the style should be neither too academic nor
too infml (i.e. “nevertheless” and “ain’t” would be inappropriate; contracted forms acceptable)


Remember: it will LOOK like an interview, it won’t be an essay ABOUT an interview.
